Inside Sales Representative

Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic, assertive, proactive Inside Sales Representative who excels in a fast-paced sales environment. The inside sales representative will have a crucial role in attaining our ambitious goals of acquiring new customers and increasing revenue, both with existing clients and potential ones across the country. Their responsibilities will include lead generation, managing accounts, and ensuring exceptional customer service to guarantee customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should feel at ease making numerous daily calls, collaborating with channel partners, generating interest, evaluating prospects, and successfully finalizing sales transactions.
Qualifications
- Inside Sales, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Service skills
- Ability to generate leads and manage accounts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex product specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in military or law enforcement industries is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound warm calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate and frequent customer information within internal database systems
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Qualifying, following up, and tracking sales leads
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Documents sales, quotes, or other business-requested information
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos and training for prospects
- Assists in providing support and guidance to clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- At least 2–5 years of sales experience preferred
- Comfortable cold/warm calling and emailing prospects
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office applications are required.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
